Learn how to make this fondant dinosaur topper for your cakes!
Today, I’ll show you how to make this cute fondant dinosaur topper in a simple way!
Materials:
- Fondant: blue, white and black
- Tools: dresden and ball tool. Learn about tools
- Edible glue. My recipe here
Let’s start making the legs…
First, take 4 balls of 1’5 grams each. Then, form a pear or cone shape. Place your finger at angle an move it back and forth. Finally, flatten the widest part on the tables with short turns.
Then, for the body…
Now, use 20 grams for the body. You need to make a teardrop shape. After, on one of the sides, use your hands to make the neck. Look in the video how to do it easily.
When the legs are firmer enough, attatch the body. Remember to apply some glue.

Now the head…
first, roll a pill shape with 6 grams. Then, make two indentations for the eyes and fill them with 2 black balls. Remember, they should fit.
Then, use the ball tool to make the nostrils and look on the video how to fill them.
Put all the pieces together…
Finally, assemble the fondant dinosaur topper. Don’t forget to add the details, look at the video to know how to do it!
